Camping & Cow Cuddling Encounters, Orange NSW, Australia

A brown calf with a red halter and pink tongue sticking out in an outdoor pasture.

We would love you to meet our girls - and Clyde. Our cattle are a mixture of Herefords and Highlands. The Hereford family is an all girl team of stud cattle. We place an emphasis on selecting and breeding for exceptional temperant and sound structure.

Our Highland family is newer to the team and has our only male with little Clyde who is still his mummy’s boy.

Camping

Through the Hipcamp website you can book a camp site.

Our Bull Paddock has easy access for caravans, 5th wheelers and low profile vehicles so thay you are assured a relaxing and fun stay.

We also have a tent only site down near the dam which makes it a great summer destination.

We have you covered, literally, in wet conditions with a substantial hay shed that can easily fit two caravans keeping you warm and dry.

Our Cows

Our cattle are two distinct breeds - Herefords and Highlands

As a registered Hereford stud, we strive to produce sound healthy animals bred for the Australian conditions. Our Herefords compete at shows and have quiet temperaments. They are big, friendly and love attention.

The Highlands, or ‘herry cooos’ are ideal for small acreages. They are tough and thrive in the cooler tablelands climate. They are very hairy, enjoy a good brush and love treats.
