About Us

We're a small, family-run farm with a big love for animals — especially our gentle cows. Its an ideal setting for those looking to disconnect from the city and reconnect with nature.

Our cattle herd is made up of Highland and Poll Hereford cattle. Both breeds are soft, gentle and love to be be brushed and fed treats!

  • We are 5km out of Orange on the Mitchell Highway heading towards Dubbo. We have good access for all vehicles.

  • It depends on weather, the cows and the ages of our visitors. We want to keep everyone safe. At the very least we will bring the cows up to our cattle yards where you can groom, feed and get to know them.

  • Yes, kids are absolutely welcome! Our cow cuddles are a fun and gentle experience for all ages. We do ask that children are supervised by an adult at all times to ensure everyone — including our cows — stays safe and happy.

  • Covered shoes - there may be mud and cow manure -it is a farm after all.

A jumper - Orange weather is very changeable and Orange is one of the coldest places in Australia.

A hat - that sun can start to burn after only 5 minutes.

  • We are in the process of building a guest bathroom, meanwhile if you’ve gotta go, you’ve gotta go! Gentlemen are welcome to find a discreet tree if they like and ladies will be accommodated. Just let us know.

  • Parts of the farm are accessible, but terrain is uneven. Please contact us before your visit so we can accommodate your needs. We can figure something out that will make everyone happy. Nobody should have to miss out just because they are less mobile.

  • Orange weather can be unpredictable. If it rains, we have ample undercover areas. Bring your wet weather gear because it will get a bit muddy. If there’s lightning we will delay going outside until the storm passes.

  • Some of our cows love a slice or two of bread. Any kind. They aren’t so keen on fruit and vegies.

  • Sorry, we don’t allow any dogs for the safety of our cows and guests. The cows don’t like dogs at all and there is nowhere safe to leave your pet while you visit.
